What breed is this cat?[Pictures]?

I’ve recently gotten a cat from my cousin’s aunt. I have no clue what breed, age, or sex it is. If you could help me find any of those, that would really help!

The cat is black and white, with a bit of orange/brown fur on it’s chest. It has small ears. She (I think it’s a girl;she has “stuff” down there, unless it’s neutered/spayed) is a very VERY nice cat. My cousins aunt found her outside her house, with a broken leg. So she kept her because she felt bad. I’m not sure if she took her to a vet, though.

She’s never bit me before. But she’s scratched me a couple times from just laying on me. she has really sharp claws. She likes to jump on tables and windows to look outside. I think she was an outdoor cat, but we haven’t let her out yet because of the snow outside and it’s cold. We might keep her as an indoor cat also..she doesn’t seem to be complaining to go outside anymore.

The cat likes to be petted and rubbed on the chin, cheeks, head, chest, stomach, and paws.

I’ve named her Noelle, if it really is a girl. Noel if it’s a boy.

Thank you!

Here are the pictures:

Also, she only meows when we come home from somewhere while she’s all alone, or when she doesn’t like something.
Thanks guys!

he/she looks like a domestic shorthair, very common cat, they vary in color and markings, but you’ve got a handsome one on your hands!

Looks like a Tuxedo cat….and is very very pretty. It’s a domestic shorthair…nothing special breedwise, but make for very nice companions. I would immediately take your new pet to the vet so they can tell you the sex and evaluate her/his overall health. They might even give it a good nail trim and show you how to do it as well. Your new kitty looks very sweet. I recommend keeping it indoors and safe. This will ensure you will have kitty around for quite a while. :)

she’s a very cute domestic short hair. if she were a boy, there would be two round mounds near the butt. she is adorable. get her used to trimming her claws. start by just handling her feet for a second every day.

get her to the vet for a checkup. she’ll live 15 years or so with any luck if you take good care of her.

she’ll need spayed soon or you will have to deal with innocent kitties. Noelle will go into heat every few weeks and drive you nuts until she mates. Besides, spaying helps prevent cancer.

Best!

oh! She’s lovely! I have one just like her, except mine has a black spot on the nose.

I think it’s a common short hair, I’m not really acquainted with english names for cats, here in Portugal they are called European short haired.

Regarding the gender, given her size, it should be easy enough to determine, either she has two little balls close to her butt or she doesn’t!

She’s a pretty black/white bicolor. The little bit of orange/tannish color looks like staining to me – not the true color of the fur. With some whitening shampoo, the color will eventually come out and the fur will be white again.

I would take the cat to the vet to determine the sex and spay/neutered as soon as possible.

She (or he?) is a cat of no particular breed – just like over 97% of the cats on this planet. Her colour is “Bicolor” – Black and White.

The orange in her chest isn’t part of her colouring – it’s staining. Most likely from that horribly tight orange collar that’s on her. Please remove it – it’s a serious choking hazard and it looks very uncomfortable. Plus when it gets wet it obviously bleeds colour onto her fur.

If you intend to keep this cat get it to a vet to be checked out and spayed or neutered. You said she had a broken leg and you’re “not sure” if she even got taken to a vet? Check that out with your aunt. Surely if the leg was really broken she would have the decency to get the cat treated. And when she brought the cat in the vet should have put something in the file to note what sex the cat was.
