Google get over yourself. UPDATE! bluebonnetgranny, I Googled you and you’ve been on several sites asking questions. Why didn’t you Googled it? Yes, it’s you, how do I know? I think it was the December 2011 issue of DOG WORLD magazine that totally debunked the myth of “hypoallergenic” dogs. There is no controversy because there are no hypoallergenic dogs. All dogs have allergens, in their dander, their saliva and, it is believed, in their urine.
You might see how you or the allergic members of your family feel after spending time with any of the so-called hairless breeds (which do have some hair), Poodles, Poodle mixes and other dogs that don’t shed seasonally but *do* shed some hair *every* day, as people do.
If anyone in your family has asthma which might be made worse by being around dogs, then maybe you should reconsider. Asthma can be deadly. You wouldn’t want to ask someone to die just so you could have a pet.

A poodle and anything mixed with a poodle, unless, of course, the dog you get takes after the other breed in the dog.
