I have 4 spayed female bulldogs and one REALLY OLD pug dog. They all receive exceptional care and are healthy and happy. We want to move to New Orleans but they have a 4 dog limit. Thought about a kennel license but many warn against this. Perhaps we could move to a rural area outside of New Orleans city limits? Besides just hoping someone doesn’t notice what is a good alternative?

Best answer:

Answer by Ash-hole ♡
Just don’t register them! We have four cats, but we didn’t register one and no one knows! =D

Answer by savahna5
If they have rules, you will most likely have to meet the rules or live elsewhere. If they made exceptions, then the rules would have no factor in being made. Close by may be your best bet at aquiring both.

People are nosy, someone will notice. Even your vet if you use the same for all 5. Its better to live close than to have to relocate later. (All it would take is company over, or a repair man, etc, and one to be angry or a tatle tale type)

Answer by delaneythehorsegirl
I live on the outskirts of New Orleans. I am guessing you are moving into a rental house or apartment because of the whole 4 dog limit but I have never heard of any city ordinance saying you can only own 4 dogs. I know people that own tons of dogs and live in New Orleans. There are some great places to live in the outskirts of New Orleans, though. Such as River Ridge, Metairie, Uptown, Harahan, and Old Metairie.

Good luck!! New Orleans is an amazing city.

Answer by cynthia e
I would say a havana they get about 6 and a half pounds but they are very lovable and social

Answer by Jumila
i am probably going to be biased because i am friends with a well known rabbit breeder i have helped them clean and groom rabbits for shows but….i say the most cute lovable rabbit i have met were blue eyed white Netherlands dwarfs XD

Answer by Tate
I had a Flemish giant rabbit, they do not all get to be the size that u see on google, but dog get very big compared to a lop rabbit. My rabbit is about the size of my 2 year old pug dog. it takes her two days to eat a human size bowl of food. She is very quiet, large, friendly (lets you hold her a lot) and acknowledge you when you talk to her.

Shut up dumb broad.

Best answer:

Answer by athornburg08
Not bring aggressive dogs into homes with several cats.

Answer by Jamie
I have 2 pits and 2 cats…My one dog learned very early not to mess with the cats because they cats would claw her face but my 2nd dog still chases the cats and they still claw his face. He does not bite the cats but he likes the chase. He has a higher prey drive then Lady does and I guess he does not mind the pain. If the cats have claws they will defend agaist the dog the claws to the muzzle of the dog can not feel very good. You could always ask your trainer if you are extra worried. Good luck.

Answer by Jen.*
Get them a cage who ever doesn’t get along or sell one of them. Because if they keep at it there going to keep attacking eachother non stop.

I want a pug dog badly, but i want to know how i can find a pug which will stay at a medium size when it reaches its adult years. Thank You

Best answer:

Answer by Bells IS Suspended
pugs are small dogs

if you need something even smaller, get a stuffed toy

Answer by CanineTruth
Breed standard for Pug calls for a weight between 14 and 18 pounds (which to me is a small breed dog). Anything smaller is not bred to standard and is LIKELY to be from a poor breeder. Meaning higher chance of serious health problems, which Pugs already have plenty OF.

If you don’t want that size, then choose a different breed.

Answer by sitcpsitcb
When I got a puppy, I chose one that came from parents on the small end of her breed’s average weight. This is definitely not foolproof (and the difference between 15-20 lbs just isn’t that much) but at least it’s an indication.

You could also rescue a full-grown pug from a breed rescue organization or a shelter. Then you would already know how large it will get.

Its really best to make your dogs food yourself, but nobody really has the time for that. the brands pedigree, blackwood pet food, and blue seal.. hope that your pug gets a good brand of food!
